The gen'l contr. hires subcontractors to build the exhibit and acquire rented and loaned items. If the gen'l would have known the display period would have included this additional time, the original cost to the principal would have been greater thus allowing the gen'l a larger fee. Now they tell me that permits cost more than they had anticipated and are asking for the difference (2000.00). It seems to me that they should have known how much permit fees are for such a project.
