I just graduated high school and want to get my real estate license, but later i want to become a contractor?
i want to make something BIG with my life I want to be able to support myself, im going to be attending community college 3 classes and i want to get my real estate license so i can start making some kind of a income within the next few years... But later on i think that i want to become a contactor, but i dont know how to go on doing that? advice anyone thanks!!

- to be a contractor - you should get training AND actual experience in at least carpentry, maybe some basic plumbing, or electrical, heating and ventilation - usually people that go into that type of work go thru an apprentice program that can last up to 5 yrs. You would have to learn how to do estimating, possibly CAD work. Being a building contractor is a lot different from being a real estate agent. some business courses like bookkeeping would help from the business end
