- Scott M is right on, MPRI is another huge contractor overseas. I worked for them for a year. MOS dependent? very much so, combat arms due to make much more than non, but contractors need all kinds, so it never hurts. ANY ACAP office worth its salt should have a list of contractors in a hand out, or at least be able to tell you about them. MPRI, Advancia, Battelle, Tec Masters Inc, Jacobs, Orion, URS, and many many others
- Possible M5 and M6 have all information you need to know and those private companies whom run what is called contractor are sort of parasite which unfortunates the tax payer pay for the war and those people pick up the Treasury of the war. That sort of illegality is legal know and if public not become a ware of what is done with the tax. Thing get worse. Now their are more British soldiers as contractors in Iraq. You know why ?. For bring back those money which supposed to be spend for humanitarian reason in Iraq.
- what kind of work were you looking for ?
- Apply with jobs doing that sort of work. Its pretty easy. They are always looking for people to go over there. It depends on your military occupation but I would get together a resume and apply to Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, L-3, General Dynamics, and any other DoD contractor you can think of.
- ACAP , Pro-Vets, and the internet. Most depend on your former MOS or training, but some (L3 for example) doesn't really stress the training part, just as long as you held the MOS.
