Construction: Replacing all windows and siding on my house?
I am a single woman who lives alone. I will have all the windows and the siding on my house replaced. I will have a few estimates done. Do you have any advice on choosing windows and siding, as well as choosing contractors ? I am afraid to be given the run around because I am a woman.

- lots of questions and options to go with...vinyl windows? what type of siding? when it comes to contractors, i'm one, always check the last 3 jobs they did......check the dates to confirm so they dont just give u the ones that turned out good, lol.......look for someone that is local in case u need them back.....they need to be in business for 5 yrs min...and heres the kicker....if they want money up front then they dont have any credit and thats a sure sign of a no go! payment when material is on the job site is ok, but not up front
