Where can I find pictures of new vinyl basement windows put into old wood frame?
The house is a nice 70 year old gerorgian style home, Contractors say the old wood frames look like they are in good shape. I am concerened .....does it look like I was trying to save money in the wrong spot, or does it even look nicer with the old frames?

- I'm not sure were to find that picture , but it sounds like your going to use a replacement type window. If so you can see how that looks at some home stores or lumber yards that sell replacement windows. This is a common practice and looks nice ,as long as the old wood frame is in good shape ,looks good ,or usually the installer will cover the old wood with aluminum that matches the new window,this will make the whole unit look new
