Can a general contractor take on a landscape job that includes concrete, trees, pool, etc?
I am a licensed general contractor wanting to take on out door work such as Landscaping and pools and basicly the whole darn back yard. According to the California State law is this OK?

- you are betting your license that it is ok or else. Why knot check with the licenseing board to make sure. A simple phone call is all you need
- I'm assuming it is ok ..legal in califonia...I'm not sure I know that "General Contractor" is not limited in what kind of work you do...hence general...and of course,it is all in your knowledge of the work good luck
- General contractor s hire the actual people that do the work so I would imagine that they can.
- Sure, why not. I'm a general contractor and I do everything. There are landscape architects you can refer customers to that will draw up a plan best suited to the site and the customers wants and needs. You should go meet with one and see all the new products and materials that are coming on line. Make sure you attend those traveling home shows when they come to your town.
