- Use the Sherwin-Williams referral wesite: www.swserviceconnection.com Sherwin-Williams will send you a list of contractors in your area. You can contact the professionals directly or request they contact you. Remember: 1. Get at least two or three bids. 2. Ask for references. Even better, visit a completed project. 3. Ask for proof of insurance and verify. 4. Ask to see license and bonding, if applicable. 5. Contact your local Better Business Bureau. 6. Carefully read contracts before signing. 7. Ask when the project will be started and completed. 8. Check on warranty protection.
- I don't live in LA but may I suggest what ever you do make sure to do some price shopping.....I got several estimates on painting the exterior of my home they varied from $1,400 to $5,000. I went with the $1,400 estimate and made sure to get references. The end result was great. They did a great job, very clean work. Make sure to buy the paint yourself, that will also save you some money. Good luck!
