I have home improvement contractors working here for about 4 days. Should I offer them lunch /food. Gave drink

I told them to help themselves to drinks that I have in the garage fridge. But should I offer them sandwiched for lunch or other snack through out the day?

1. no, you've already been more than generous, most people don't even offer drinks. i usually make a big urn of coffee, and have ice cubes in a cooler with ice tea and some sodas. most of the time, the workers like to go out to lunch,anyway.
2. No. They are supposed to bring their own food and drink anyway. I wouldn't have even offered them the drinks in the fridge to tell you the truth. You may find they drink every last one in there. I remember my father giving a member of the contracting team building our home a glass of water. We found the glass half-buried in the dirt a few months later in our front yard. The guy couldn't even be bothered to return the glass. If I am paying someone a lot of money to do something for my home, the most I'll give them is a bottle of water if they are sweating profusely.
3. You must be southern...It is nice of you to offer them something to drink. As far as food goes, some folks are just a little leery of eating others cooking, so you might want to set out a plate of cookies, brownies, or such. This is something they can easily recognize (unlike what is in a sandwich) and can be consumed throughout the day. Hopefully, your kind hospitality will be reflected in their work!
4. No, you don't have to provide lunch. It was very nice of you to give them access to drinks. If you bake some cookies anyway, you could offer some, but this isn't necessary at all.
5. You don't have to, but you can if you'd like. I'm sure they appreciate the drinks. They probably bring their own lunch or go out to eat so it's fine for you not to. You're very kind, it's refreshing =). I'm sure they'll do a better job since you were so nice to them.
6. Sure! Just remember the Golden Rule. I did that sort of work. and it was always greatly appreciated when we were provided something. I would suggest that on the last day as a kind of thanks that you order up a pizza. It's easy and they will love you for it.

8. NO. You went out of your way offering drinks. Some people will not even let them use the bathroom!.
9. No...the offer of the drinks is fine and well within boundaries. Don't feed them (especially after midnight)
