What's a ballpark figure for having drywall ceiling installed and textured?

Rather than bug contractors, does anyone know what it typically costs (Seattle area). Small job - one room - 14' x 13'?

1. 2 men 4 days work, maybe 5, figure 80 hours at $100/ hour plus materials, since it is a small job. so any quote under $8K is reasonable. Hope this helps.
2. 500 dollars is on the high side, check local bureaus for good repair person.
3. 4x8x1/2 drywall costs about 6bucks a sheet at the home depot.4bucks for drywall screws and a little WORK . you can do it! and a 5lb box of drywll compound 4bucks, a 4$ trowel , so about 75bucks and you are good to go!
4. if it takes 2 guys 5 days to do 1 ceiling then you have hired the wrong guys, should take 2 guys less then 8 hours to do, i can do it with my teenage son in less time, cost for materials is about $100, figure double for labor would be about 300 total.
5. If I walked into an empty room,no furniture to move around, and the joists were all clean, labor and materials would be about $650.00. That's to hang the rock, mud, tape & texture,& a very quick sand. no paint, see ya.
