How do I send 1099s without an EIN?I am an independent contractor and 'hire' sub contractors to complete work.
I am an independent contractor who hires sub contractors to do transcription work. Thus I do not have an EIN. How do I send out 1099's without that? I bought the Home and Business edition of Turbotax so I could print out 1099's and have run into this road block. Thank you!
