As a decorative painter/faux finisher,Can I legally work under a general contractors license?
I am a decorative painter in Palm Beach county Florida and need to know if I can legally place ads and bid on jobs / write up contracts for clients under my boyfriends general contractors license.If so, do I need my own insurance ? what all is involved in working under someone elses license? i do have my own business name and tax id # also my own occupational license- will I still need to renew these? Can I keep my own business name? Help!
