why do liberals hate Joe the Plumber?

i recently posted a question about Joe the Plumber. instead of answering the question, the mindless liberal lemmings repeated the tired left-wing talking points.... "joe the plumber doesn't even have a plumber's license." first, that has nothing to do with the fact that obama is a socialist... so they are just attempting to divert our attention. second, joe isn't required to have a license since he works for a contractor (though he is studying for his own. then there's "joe doesn't make $250k so he'd be better off under Obama." that's pretty much the brilliance of joe the plumber! he doesn't make that much YET. but he's not lazy and greedy... he doesn't want a handout! he wants to work hard, save money, build his own business and become successful! is it absolutely amazing that the socialists/leftists don't get this point? JFK said we should ask "not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"... today's liberals are just the opposite. Obama and his lemmings want to know what their country will do for them... and they don't want to do anything for their country. to all you socialists/leftists ready to answer (who likely haven't even read this far since you're just going to repeat your talking points)... instead of just hating on a regular American guy like Joe the Plumber (who was minding his own business when Obama approached him)... maybe you should concentrate on Obama's response to Joe about his socialist plan. and instead of mocking Joe for not wanting to be a freeloader, maybe you should think about why guys like Joe would rather earn their own success rather than have an elitist like Obama condescend to him. apparently those of you who hate Joe have no respect for yourselves.

Not to mention.....lets say 'Joe' did make over $250,000, how much would it be? Lets say he made $280,000......3% X 30,000 = $900. If you can't afford to hire people and survive as a business, because you have to pay $900.....when you make $280,000......you are a friggin idiot. McCain's tax cut for the rich will cost 300 BILLION DOLLARS.....$1000 for every person in the USA.....all of which will be added to the national debt. Take that off your 'tax cut' from McCain, and it's actually a net loss for everyone who is not a millionaire.

Because he's a phony. He is smearing Obama, and answering questions being asked by people at McCain rallies as if he understands foreign policies or any policies at that. That's why he couldn't give any specifics about how will voting for Obama be the death of Israel to Shepard Smith on Fox News. He's a hack and he is claiming his 15 minutes of fame.

Joe feels like I do, if you work hard you pay your fair taxes and don't need to spread the wealth by paying more just because you are in business. I saw a comparison of the taxes saved under Obama's plan vs McCain's (both would have to pass Congress). More would go back under Obama's plan; but, then how are we going to pay for this big bailout which hasn't led to any money being put into circulation? A second bailout is being discussed. Where is the money?
I don't hate him. He's just a guy who's being used (poorly) by the McCain campaign. I hate what they're trying to make him symbolize. Plus, now he's being set up as some kind of expert on the economy and Obama's policies. You did hear him say that he agreed with the statement that "the election of Obama means the death of Israel," didn't you? Sure, if he works hard and starts making $250,000, good on him. We'd all love to work hard and make a lot of money. But the reality is still the same: for his situation and income NOW, Obama's plan would be of great benefit to him. BTW, he wasn't just "minding his own business" when he had the conversation with Obama. He called Obama over to him to talk.
I think the liberal left are talking smack about Joe the Plumber because he recently endorsed McCain. Joe claims that Obama is working under a socialist mentality, and would not be the right person for the job. He also says that Obama as President would be the end of Israel. I see Joe as another working man trying to pay his bills. If Obama really cared about the working class, he wouldn't try to sneak his weak policies through to the public.

I think everyone is a little tired of Joe, especially mcCain who did not vet ( research ) him properly before he, McCain put him on national TV. Then Joe got in trouble for practicing without a license. So whats McCain the honorable do he tries to turn it around and say it was Obama who put him in the spotlight. Even though on David Letterman Mccain admitted he did it and it was a mistake. He went out and repeated the lie even after the Letterman show.

McCain's tax plan burdens the middle class and helps the rich get richer, while Obama's plan puts more money into the citizens that fuel the economy: the middle class.

You say liberals hate Joe and use the license as an excuse, and yet all conservatives do is call Obama a socialist. It's your typical let's attack the other guy because he's ahead in the polls. It's a desperate attack that doesn't work and makes conservatives look bad. McCain is doing it too and it's not working. As far as Joe not having 250K yet...well, yes he would be better off under Obama currently. Is his business going to reach 250K in 4 years? Maybe, maybe not...seems kind of a stretch, especially since he of course, doesn't have a license yet...makes it sort of hard to reach 250K that way. When he does reach for 250K then he can vote for whomever else is running that would be better for upper class, whether it be Democrat or Republican or whatever. Everyone is missing the point with the entire 250K tax to begin with. He picked that number because it's the top 5%. It's not to hurt people who want to work hard, but if you are a CEO or oil tycoon, and let's face it, I'm sure a lot of those people got there more so because of who they knew, then why shouldn't their cut be shaved a bit more (and not even THAT much more) to help out the lower classes. If the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, then soon the rich will be screwed themselves. Of course there are always going to be people that take advantage of being lazy and whatnot. There are people who purposely work low hours just to stay on food stamps. Is that ridiculous? Very much so...but they are going to exist and continue to be on that no matter what president there is. So do liberals hate Joe the plumber? I don't think so, I don't. But does he represent your average american? Hell no. He no more average than you or me. Just a guy trying to work and make a living. That's everyone. It's the same argument that Palin is just like us and has small town values....meaningless because no one can say what those values are. Why? Because it's the same as everyone else.
