I had all my windows replaced some years ago with weatherized insulated windows. Now, I notice that some of ?
the insulation is coming out of the frames between the glass and frame. I tried to find the contractor who did the work to honor the warranty on the windows. He is no longer in business. I tried to find the manufacturer of the windows on the frames and there isn't any. How do I find out who made the windows? The insulation is not replaceable. The windows have a 25 year warranty and they are only 10 years old.

- just push the insulations back in and caulk around the windows , it is cheap and easy and effective
- You need to look for some type of paperwork - to find out the name of manufacture. I did service windows and doors at a big box retailer.....normally the name of the window is printed on the top of the window- but it would have to be pulled out to look. You also have to look at the fact that the windows may be under warranty - however the labor is not ! The only suggestion would be is try to repair what you currently have, the cost of replacement especially if you have a brick home will be very costly ! Wish you the Best, Goodluck !
- If you can't get the original installer back contact a different window/door installer that has many years experience. An experienced installer will likely be able to tell you what kind of window it is just by looking at it. If not it's probably worth your time to have him/her pull the window out. Most window's have info on the wall side of the jamb. Once you find out what kind of window it is, contact the manufacturer directly and they'll send out a local rep.
