Home Improvement Contractor - Licensed Contractors

How do you get a military contractor id?

I repair Dell computers and Lexmark printers under warranty for a living. As a result, I have to go on base to several local military bases. Getting on is always a huge ordeal, and having to do it several times a week is very time consuming. I was wondering how to go about obtaining a contractor id so that I could get on base easier each time.

  1. Ask at the gate.
  2. get a military contract
  3. You going to have to talk to your contract manager / sponsor to see if they can determine that you need a badge They may just determine you don't come on enough to warrant a contract badge Pass and ID would also be able to point you in the right direction as far as the steps to obtain one
  4. That would be something your boss would have to check into. I know what you are going through but if you stop and think about from the militarys point of view, they would rather have you fill out paperwork each time than try and keep track of a photo ID card for every contractor who enters that base. And it would be too much of a security risk if you were to carry it with you all the time. Not that you are a careless person but, it might get stolen and forged. You never know.
