I want to become a Bridge Contractor in Australia but?

I want to become a bridge contractor in Australia but my careers teacher told me that I have to know alot about Physics and be in my top math class. I'm in 10th grade and I'm in 10M1 (10Maths1) out of 6 classes but from what I heard, there not ranked and I'm doing alright in Maths, and she also said that there's not alot of jobs for bridge contractors because were not building bridges everyday here in Australia. From what i see is a small bridge in mainly every 2 suburbs and if I don't become a bridge contractor, I have nothing else to do beside Policing.

1. Mate, what is wrong with becoming an civil engineer? There are many jobs going and you will be able to design structures other than bridges. You need to figure out what it is that attracts you to bridge construction, and then find careers that will fulfill this. And you don't need to be tops in math and physics, as long as you do well in them. Hope this helps!
