Who should I contact to cover an open sump pump well in the basement - plumber, contractor..?
The sump pump well is located in the basement of an investment property. the insurance company requires that the sump pump be covered. what profession is doing this type of work - plumber, general contractor, other..? Also, approximately how much should it cost just to cover it (just a rough estimate - $100? $500, $1000?) THANKS.

- i think the insurance dompany is just concerned about an open hole in the floor. you can cover it with a few bucks worth of wood. just dont make it permanent, because you may have to get to the pump.
