Soon to be having a new roof put on. What should we look for in our roofing contractor?

This will be the first roof we have ever had to do and I want to know what to look for in our contractor and what problems to avoid.

If you are looking for the better roofing contractors, visit certainteed or GAF websites and use one of their certified master contractors. I would also recommend a certified system from them. It is a little more costly but you get extended warranties from the manufacturer. I personally think the GAF system is a better one.
