What are the requirements for driving a taxi in the Chicago area?

I know nothing about what I need to do to get licensed, average income, independent contractor or anything else relevant. Thanks.

2. Go and apply for the job... they will tell you what you need to get to drive a taxi. Now block this answer also but most people would be able to find out without someone else doing their work for them.
