Do you need a contractors license to do small side jobs for people?
I was curious if you need a contractors license to do small jobs side jobs for people. For example painting a room or two for them, replacing some light fixtures, replacing plumbing fixtures? I am in Nevada and I am not sure if the law is the same as California where you can do small jobs for people as long as the total cost with supplies does not exceed $500.00?
