What are the Average Costs of having a Contractors license in california?

I'm considering getting my License C-6CABINET, MILLWORK AND FINISH CARPENTRY I also know you need to be Bonded, and Insured for Workers Comp. Id like to know what the fee's are, and what they are based on. Say, i do $50k in work a year doing it full time or only $3k /yr doing it on the side. This is my 6th year doing finish trim but i have 7.5 years in construction. How hard is the test?
