What are the requirements to be hired by Private Military Contractors like Blackwater?
I was in the Marine Corps.

- Well, think twice about doing that. That company is bad news. They are in trouble alot. Plus many of them get hurt in Iraq. (Killed too) Now, you being in the Marines will make you "Ready" to be hired by blackwater.

- you have to have skills in a number of things like, special ops, be able to shoot to kill without hesitation, and much more. Blackwater is a very tough and very important company, and it would be an honor to just be employed by them. Give it a shot man, if you were a marine and still possess your skills gained in training you should be fine. One difference though, you dont have to follow the engagment rule of dont fire less fired upon, you get to fire if felt threatened without hesitation. the big leagues, to tell you the truth it is probably safer to work for blackwater because of that, but yeah, give em a shot. If you get in, that will be something to be proud of.
- The Marines is a good starting point for a background smiled upon by Blackwater USA. Something else that will help greatly is the current or no more than a 24 month old Secret or better security clearance. Also, any special ops experience is looked upon highly. Lastly, any Personnel Security Directorate training/experience always helps. Lastly, it's WHO you know...Good luck!
- You have to have at least 2 yearsservice in the military. You cannot have any criminal record. Be able to pass a drug test and criminal background test and a phycial exam, and have at least three references.
