Can city goverment legally keep me from building if I meet all of their requirements?
We are trying to build a camp for kids with special medical needs near Yosemite in California. Our county government keeps denying us our permits for one of the buildings. We meet all their requirements and then they will find some reason to deny us our permits. We have talked with local contractors and builders and noone else is required to do the things we are being made to do. Is thee anything illegal about this? Your help is appreciated.

- You almost answered your own question........special needs kids....the building would have to meet the special codes for handicapped.
