Is there a requirement to file a 1099 tax form based on the amount paid?

I paid one contractor $5, another $50 and a third $500, am I required to send them all a 1099 form? Is there a requirement to file a 1099 based on the amount paid?

1. You aren't required to send any of them a 1099 - the dollar limit is $600 where you are required to.
2. There is a minimum, but I don't know what it is right now. They will probably have the information on irs.gov.
3. $600 This would include all payments to them including reimbursement of expenses.
