Designing, purchasing and installing an automatic gate opener for a driveway?
I live in a home with a detached garage in the backyard and we have a chain link fence gate between the front and back yard. It's unwieldy to get back to the garage with a car b/c we have to get out of the car each time to open and close the gate. I've been looking into contracting out or installing an automatic gate opener. It just needs to fit one car. I've done research and was curious if someone had a recommended vendor or contractor in the central Texas area. Also, any experience with a particular brand of opener or gate? And any experience with design requirements for automatic gates?
