It can be, but it's usually based on region and in some cases season (I live in the mountains, so things get weird here). Contractors tend to have little or no customer service staff and that tends to make things difficult. Once they get into a project they have little time to pursue new leads, schedule future projects or deal with customer calls in a way your or I might think of as professional. If you know the contractor and keep at him, you should get some results. However, if you're not getting feedback in a timely fashion, keep looking.

It Too Funny you ask this. I am a Home Improvement contractor and Had three year great run and yes its hard to get back to your quote sometimes. However Now the tables Have turned on me. The last 60 day I got very slow here in new york. I don't know Why? But Contractors are hands on Guys and sometime they Have too much going on. I PRAY GOOD TIMES COME BACK SOON> Bill In NY>>>>>>
