That's scary(this from a person going to college this fall).I don't believe they should have SHOTGUNS.I think pepper spray and tasers ought to be enough.but then think of WHAT IF another shooting happened?Wouldn't we want them to be as armed as possible where they can take control of the situation???

ORWELLIAN. They sure know where those thought crimes they're so scared of are likely to originate: institutions of higher learning. Do you suppose they'll put the thought police in kindergartens next? Work the program from the ground floor up? By the time the kindergarteners reach university, they won't need the thought police there anymore. Homeland security is just a waste of our money & a joke...on us. Those that want to get through it seem to do so without any problem. The rest of us just keep on getting harrassed & inconvenienced.
It is time for the people to bring out the heavy artillery against the New World Order! We are all God's people, and God has never intended for us to live as slaves to an arrogant minority of Elites who somehow got the idea that they are superior to the rest of humanity and that they should be running everything, and that our purpose in life is to be their slaves. Power really does corrupt, and absolute power really does corrupt absolutely! Everyone has the right to have personal power over their own lives, but NO ONE has the right to have power over any other person's life. We The People have the right to fight for our own power over our own lives. AND WE DO OUTNUMBER THEM! The problem is that so many of us are still asleep and/or just refuse to see what these people are doing to us. What is it really going to take, to wake everyone up, and make them understand? How close will these so called elite have to get to actually succeeding in bringing their agenda to full fruition, before all of humanity stands up together against them and says HELL NO! *sm*
When any regime wants to control a nation, one of the first things they do is destroy Intellectualism. By destroying the process of thought, they can turn the remaining populace into a series of obedient puppets, fearful of protest. At the moment, I am even dubious of these new Driver's Licenses. Why on earth are these needed at a time when states are suffering financially? If the purpose is to halt possible terrorists from boarding planes, why don't they just update and correct that No Fly List, with its thousands of errors and discrepancies? We already have laws against violent radicalization and homegrown terrorism! Why do they need more of the same? Is this an attempt to halt any opposition to powerful leaders, no matter how wrong they may be? Is this an attempt to halt the encouragement of Intellectual debate within the halls of our universities? There is no doubt about it, this group of idiots has to go, the sooner the better!
The freedoms that are cherished in this country are always in danger of being taken away. That is why is not good to "put your trust in nobles or the sons of earthling man" as Psalms warns. People in power want to stay in power and will do anything to make that so.
