contractors general liability insurance audits?

PLEASE HELP.......... I am being audited on my general liability insurance & I have never done this before...........i am so clueless! HELP

  1. have a lawyer to deal with this. its going to cost you but since your being audited might as well have someone do the talking.
  2. ask your insurance company to issue a "certificate of liability insurance" with coverage dates fulfilling the auditors request. your insurance company will know how to handle it... let them help you.
  3. You need to add details. Are you the owner? Who is auditing you? What are they claiming? Who is your liability insurance carrier? Normally all you have to do in these cases is contact your carrier and have them submit proof that your insurance was in effect and the policy was in good standing. Without knowing the whats and whys, how can we give you advice?
