is it hard to get your contractors license?
my boyfriend wants to take his contractors license test for painting..is it possble to study..can you take the test online?

- Contact your local licensing office and ask them for a study guide and also suggestions to study for the test. they should be able to provide you with what he'll need to know for the test. Also, there may be a professional association in your area for painting contractors, maybe look for that and contact them as well. I would also check for state, county, city licenses as needed, because depending on where you live, you could need 1 2 or all three to be in business. They also have radio ads at least around here that guarantee he would pass a General Contractor license if he takes their class. One of my friends took it and he DID pass his test, it was only like $49. for the class.. maybe they have something like that where you are?
