what is the estimated cost of having a contractor tape, mud and sand new drywall in a finished basement?

I am finishing my basement and I am on a time constraint. I want to hang the drywall myself, but hire someone to tape, mud and sand it. Not to mention that I SUCK at it. Does anyone know roughly what that might cost per square foot.

1. I just paid $500 for orange peel finish on 2 rooms 12x12 total
2. We payed $10.00 a sheet to put 3 coats of mud and tape. It was for a large commercial job the guy had been hanging rock for 60 ( no kidding) years. It was worth every dime.
3. if you hang it yourself, you may be hard pressed to find someone willing to do the work at a reasonable rate, depending on how good a job you do shimming the studs and hanging the rock tight and level. i figure about $2.50 a ft may be fair
