How to start a painting contractor company?
I don't have experience in painting, but I am a fast learner. I need something new to do.

- First you need to find a customer. Better yet, try to get hired on by an experienced painting contractor, learn the trade, then start taking his business away from him.
- You first should be in a market where the demand is high. Go to the local paint shops and ask around. Maybe they'll let you post an "apprentice looking for a job" sign. Fuller Obrien and Devoe stores are good because the paint is quality. Paint contractors buying there usually have better clientele vs. the Behr paints most buy at Home Depot.
