What is the average price an apartment painting contractor should charge per square ft.?
If you dont charge per square foot what do you charge hourly or other?

- for residential, in Texas it runs around 3.00-3.50 a sq ft.
- If you are contracted with an apartment complex usually means that there is a set price per unit depending on the sqare footage and if there are vaulted ceilings. I have had a 2 bed 2 bath 920 sq ft. done for 120.00 and this is only because we are contracted to use only this contractor. If your looking to bid for apartments make sure that you are the only contractor used for that property or you price should go up. This ensures that the apartments use one contractor and he give a good price but in turn you get all the buisness for that complex, also try submitting to the corporate office this will improve your buisness.
