What is the 80/20 rule in regards to a painting & decorating contractor?

1. the 80/20 rule is the 80/20 rule. I'm not sure how to differentiate for a specific profession. It's that 20% of your input usually yields 80% of your output. Or in terms of people 20% of people do 80 % of the workload. Or in land 20% of landowners own 80% of the land. For you specifically the trick is determing what is the 20% of work that you do that yields the most results. As it applies to painter/decorating? Not so sure... But it is a priciple that had been studied for a few hundred years, also known as the Pareto Principle.
